The teaching unit is headed by a Principle who reports to the Director. There are currently 11 teachers who take care of the Pre-unit, Nursery, and Classes 1 to 7. The Director also teaches a number of the classes and supports the teaching whenever she is called upon.
All these teachers are qualified and have a good teaching track record. The Morning Star School is known for its high level of excellence and its pupils have consistently displayed their prowess in English and Swahili (national language) conversation even performing much better than students in higher grade classes from the surrounding schools. There is a wealth of skills not only in the languages but also in poetry and music as has been demonstrated every time visitors visit the school.

Although the need for more staff constantly sticks out like a sore thumb, we cannot afford to increase this number awing to the fact that we are not supported financially by any donnors.
The Star of the Morning School is overseen by a Board chaired by the current Director. Besides the Director, there are 3 other members of the Board who oversee various aspects of the school’s management including:
Finance.
Infrastructural & Resources Development.
Information & Marketing.
Education, Health & Safety.
